Sports Day 2020
AMWAJ Catering Services Ltd. in cooperation with Qatar Petroleum Camp Management had organized sports activities for Staff residing at AMWAJ residential complex – Mesaieed Global Village 1, Mesaieed Industrial City during the celebration of Qatar National Sports Day held on 11th February 2020 (Tuesday). The whole day sports activities such as marathon, sack race, tag of rope and other games were all enjoyed by employees and participants.
Some of AMWAJ employees were also participated in “Shokran Cup” organized by Qatar Foundation Science and Community Development on the same day where AMWAJ Teams exhibited their skills in sports and won major prizes in the tournaments such as Cricket (Champion), Basketball (Champion), Volleyball – Female (1st place) and Football (2nd place).
“I would like to extend my appreciation to Events Organizers for the wonderful arrangement made which demonstrated their commitment / dedication to practice sports throughout the years and not only during National Sports Day” – said by Mr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Mulla, AMWAJ CEO and Board Member while wishing health and safety for all.
AMWAJ has provided various recreation areas at AMWAJ residential complex to encourage staffs to engage in sports regularly. AMWAJ Executive Management is keen to prepare and organize more sporting events throughout the years.
