Job Purpose : To conduct inspection during which all QHSE Certification requirements, Policies and procedures will be implemented, cross checked and verified. Ensure all FS issues are communicated, documented and action taken. Immediate focal point working with the Operations and client on a day to day basis. Key Accountabilities : • Ensure the AMWAJ Food Safety Management System is implemented and in place. • Implement required documentation, operational checks and reports for the QHSE Management System that is compliant to the ISO 22 000 and HACCP Systems. Ensure compliance to basic Fire Safety, Occupational Safety and Fire safety in the work area. • Implementation of corrective and preventative measures. Keep record of actions in place. Report matters that can not be attended to on unit level. • Review Risk assessments in work place and ensure revision is done minimum annually. • Provide continuous improvement proposals stating non conformances, proposed corrective actions. Ensure compliance with Certification requirements. • Coordinate and participate in the investigation of Accidents, Incidents and near misses. Communicate all findings. Ensure corrective actions are implemented. • Participate in Food sample collection and submissions. • Commitment towards the Company's Food & Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Job Requirements : • Bachelor Degree in Microbiology or Food Technology. Strong knowledge on HACCP and a minimum of Level 3 Food safety. • 2 Year Experience in similar role preferably in catering industry Strong knowledge in Occupational & Environmental knowledge. Awareness on Health and Safety, Environmental management, Internal Auditor, risk assessment and Fire safety.
